Introduction
Mayank’s graphic style is clean and strongly rooted in design values. In equal measure, it is complemented by eagerness to learn and address specific project challenges. Attention to even the smallest design tasks, adherence to systematic processes and a strong human touch are some of his strengths. Mayank believes in considering the larger aspects of every design assignment including branding, user experience and social and environmental implications.
His work experience spans a range of industries, design problems and medias. He has had the privilege of designing for some of the world’s leading brands as well as for non-profits, startups, small businesses and individuals. Mayank’s graphic design solutions have empowered many brands / organisations over the past two decades, and continue to.
Mayank Bhatnagar was born and brought up in the heritage city of Jaipur (Rajasthan, India), where he studied at St. Xavier’s High School. Childhood flair for art led him to pursue a degree in graphic design from the prestigious Faculty of Fine Arts, M.S. Universty, Baroda (Gujarat). After graduation, he worked for five years with Mudra Communications (now DDB Mudra), New Delhi (one of India’s leading advertising agencies) and for a year with an information technology company, as an art director, and subsequently started his freelance graphic design career. Currently based in his hometown of Jaipur, he designs for print as well as digital mediums.
In his spare time, Mayank loves to expand on his skills and indulge in issue-based graphic illustrations and fine art photography. A nature lover and birder, he enjoys going for long walks. Listening to music, watching TV series and cooking are some of his favourite pastimes. He values learning foremost and is a student for life.
